Introduction

Welcome to dollshousedressmaker, the quality, bespoke dressmaking service for ¹/₁₂th scale dolls.

I have many years of dressmaking expertise and have created a range of original and unique collectable miniature dolls. Each doll is dressed in a historically accurate costume, using fine quality materials and lavish trimming and accessories. Wherever possible I use natural materials which "hang" better, for example fine lawns, cotton twill, silks, damask, velvet e.t.c., and appropriate lace and braid. I often use antique lace whenever I can source it.

Each doll comes with the appropriate accessories; hats, shoes, handbags, parasols e.t.c. Each garment is stitched and the trimmings are hand sewn, the accessories are also hand made. Every doll is totally unique and is designed solely by myself using original patterns.

Please look at the Gallery for photographs and descriptions of typical dolls from different historical eras. I will supply from any historical time from 1066 to 1950.

Special commisions are welcome. Prices are from £35 to £100 (with accessories). Commission prices to depend on research and materials needed.
